HELP!!!! Act 1 Last Boss HELP!!!!!

So me and my friend went to kill last boss of act 1 i died. my friend killed the boss but my quest bugged out and didnt count as if i killed him.And the boss dosent reset if im solo or in party with someone else. cant play further because of this quest. HELP
