Skill points PERMANENTLY lost

Hello everyone,



The bug is about skill points you can loose permanently whyen you ask for a refund bug do not use them at once. I refund 4 of them and saved the transaction, left the game and reconnected. I had to do this because I changed the input from controller to keyboard because there is no way to distribute weapon set skill point using a controller.
I then relaunched the game and connected but couldn't see my 4 points refunded. I'm sure I had them because I had the small notification bubble telling me I have 4 points available on the passive tab. But after reconnection, gone...

Have you guys experienced this bug ? Is there any way to get them back ?
If not, please be careful when using the refund skill point feature.

I'm now restarting a new character all because of that.

I just had this happen for me. went to respec to damage instead of ES and upon doing so it displayed that I was still running ES and the new damage nodes even though I didn't have the points put into ES anymore. I also had an extra point from leveling up I hadn't spent yet and did before realizing the weird visual bug. I relogged to try and fix it but on logging back in it reset my skill tree back to what it was before the changes and deleted that last skill point. I did the math, I'm level 22 so with that skill point book that should put me at 24 points, but I only have 23. that point is permanently lost now. thx GGG, your game sucks.

A classic off-by-1 error.

At level 1, you have 0 skill points. You can check with a new character. So, if you're level 22, you should have 21 skill points from leveling, and it sounds like you had 2 skill points from quests. So, 23 would be the correct number of skill points.
