Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1) - Soft locked in Act 3 Infested Barrens - Forum

I joined my friends party as he was placing the large core into the pedestal in order to unlock the Matlan Waterways. It unlocked the new area for him and not for me, but the core stayed in the pedestal and I can't place my own. I'm now stuck on that quest.
