Me and Geonor died simultaneously, but the game continued. (POE2)

I encountered a strange bug yesterday while fighting Count Geonor. We both died simultaneously, but the ending sequence with the hooded figure continued despite my death screen. The hooded figure finished Geonor, and the item drops appeared. However, when I revived and returned to the location, the items and Geonor were gone, the battle music was still playing, and the game had inexplicably progressed to Act 2.

So, my question if there were any special items or traits that only that boss gives? Is it possible to retrieve them somehow? Kinda a major bug, the game should have restarted the fight, not progress further OR it should have gave me the items I won in fair fight (though I have died).

I just ran into the same issue, going to go through the manor again letting the instance completely reset, hoping I can redo/he has nothing valuable.

Same happened to me, no loot after a long and tough fight unfortunately
