Back in April 2024 I did a support ticket asking if GUILD tabs would migrate to POE2 and I was told YES they would. (Wont name anyone to avoid putting blame on one person)
I bought several tabs because of this reason alone. Well turns out they don't migrate to POE2, so I did a second support ticket and this time I was told there was nothing they could do, no compensation, nothing. However way you feel about if guild should migrate or not I want to make clear that I asked support before the purchase, and IF I would have been told no, I would have just waited to buy them once POE2 released... What should I do? What do you think about this situation? Thanks for your time, even though its probably just me complaining in to a void. Last bumped on Dec 31, 2024, 1:17:49 PM

" Since you had a support email saying you would they would hopefully honor that but even if they do not there's a lot of community pressure on this particular topic and i find it likely that GGG is going to try to make it right somehow. I'm sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately, at this time, guild purchases are tied to the guilds they were purchased on so are not able to be transferred to a new guild (such as one created for Path of Exile 2). I apologise for any confusion this may have caused.
While I'm not able to speculate about the specific response you had received to your past query, as we don't discuss private correspondence on the public forums, it may be that there was a misunderstanding somewhere due to the fact that we've previously stated that all purchases for Path of Exile 1 will still be usable in Path of Exile 2 (barring effects that wouldn't make sense, such as skill effects for skills that are no longer in the game). However, this would only be true for purchases that apply to your account, as you use the same account for both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. Guild purchases are not associated with a particular account and are instead bound to the guild in question. At this time, it is not possible for guilds to move from Path of Exile 1 to Path of Exile 2. I can't speculate if this is something that might change before the full release of Path of Exile 2 or if there are other accommodations that could be arranged on an individual basis, as those kinds of accommodations would have to be looked into on a case by case basis.
