GGG, please read! Feedback about Chronomancer's Time Freeze ability.

Time Freeze, feels more like Freeze without time part.
All it does is stop enemy movement, while rare mobs with Ambush, or whatever it called now, still teleport to you even during Time Freeze, stagger bar goes down, as well as any debuffs expire. With it's relatively short duration (3 seconds base) and high cooldown (60 seconds base), currently it feels meh at best. I picked this ascendancy to try it with Supercharged Slam because of Time Freeze, i was 100% sure it would actually stop time, with stopping stagger bar from going down and debuffs to expire. But since it doesn't, Supercharged Slam attack after Heavy Stun ended, making any heavy stun related stuff just useless for Supercharged Slam. Chronomancer is already one of least popular ascendancies, and people that chose it mostly because of Time Freeze thinking it will do what it says. Last bumped on Dec 18, 2025, 9:31:53 AM

Yeah I think it should 'freeze' buffs, debuffs, but also I think it should complement "enemies on Full Life" effects as well by essentially 'freezing' the damage dealt BUT its still accumulated and registered (maybe as a separate life bar or a transparent indication on the current one) until it expires then all the damage comes at once.
Idk if its too OP but it would be amazing and interesting playstyle if they could balance it out. |
