Skill gem stopped working - This information is currently unavailable

Hello GGG,

My skill gem stopped working. Specifically Ice Strike. When socketed into the skills it doesn't show any dmg on the tooltip. Additionally, when I click "arrow" button for more information it is a big message on the top "This information is currently unavailable". Please see the screenshot.

I don't know how it broke down. Please note that's the only skill gem I have with +1 support capacity. So maybe it has to do with that.

Similar issue, where my core skill Artillery Ballista has "This information is currently unavailable" when I expand the details of the skill. The skill is also not available to be assigned into a hot bar.

However if I unmount the skill gem, and Ctrl left click on the skill gem I am able to use it after auto equip with "G" skill panel opened, but if I drag it into slot it doesn't work.

After Ctrl left clicking to auto equip it , if I assign any support gems to it, it will also break.

This skill gem also has 3 sockets for support gem at the moment.

All other skills works

I've done additional testing.

If I create a brand new gem then it works.

Here is the bugged artillery ballista in my inventory:
I've left it in my stash named "22"

I've managed to brick another artillery ballista. by assigning weapon sets to the new gem I've just created using the option "Used with weapon set I or II"

As soon as I start playing with options in there. the skill will be unassigned from my hot bar and disappear , unable to select it again just like the previous gem

I have the same issue, I logged in and all skills that where set to my weapon slot II are bricked. Did you find any solution? I've improved the quality of some of these skills so creating new gem is very suboptimal.

I have the same problem here, but with the Lightning Conduit skill. I cannot assign it to any hotkey, and when I try to open it to view information about the gem, a message appears saying it is unavailable.

Same!!! Still happening in Dawn of the Hunt!!

I now have several borked 'Lightning Spear' skill gems including a 5 slot level 9 on my Bloodmage Witch (see attached pic). In fact, it's almost as if the character itself has become the problem, because no matter how many times I make a new Lightning Spear skill gem, eventually it becomes bugged! What's worse, is after foregoing Lighting Spear entirely and removing the skill gem, all of a sudden the equipped skill 'disengage' also became bugged mid-map!!

Of note: I logged in with my Huntress, and all the "borked" skill gems work just fine for that character, so it's definitely character related.

Suffice it to say, this is extremely frustrating, because like this I can't continue playing my BloodMage

I would upvote this thread if I could, because this bug is genuinely game-breaking!!

FYI - This seemed to happen to me immediately following a thorough Passive Tree respec and complicated reallocation process. So for the purpose of testing, I refunded all passives, including Ascendency points, reloaded the game and reallocated everything from scratch. DIDN'T HELP.

I am, however, out another 30grand gold. XD
