POE2 - 'cast on freeze' skill doesn't work

Cast on Freeze is not allowing me to put Spell echo in the gem slot, i was able to before but now i cant. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Same issue. I have more than enough Spirit but when I right click the skill, it says I do not have enough spirit.

solved my issue with it, when trying to put gems into cast on freeze it says they are not supported when they are clearly. It was a visual bug and my issue has been resolved

For the issue in the ss you have to socket a skill gem first before it will let you activate or put supports into it.
