Shield Charge not working

I've run into a bug where shield charge won't trigger/activate. Sometimes going back to town will fix the bug. I just noticed it happen again after I upgraded Shield Charge with a higher level skill gem.

Context:

Platform: PS5, North America, Controller
Class: Warrior (lvl 13)

TLDR: Shield Charge not working

Update: I'm currently doing the Freythorn zone, and after summoning Finn, Shield Charge stopped working again.

This just happened to me in the Hunting Grounds. After summoning Finn, Shield Charge stopped working. Portal to town and back fixed it.

I noticed that if you zone anywhere it seems to fix it.

Same here. Logged in today and traveled to Keth.

Tried restarting the game, removing gems from skill, removing skill, portal in and out of the area. Nothing seems to be working.

+1 but this happened to me with leap slam
so it seems is a travel skill issue with warrior

i fixed it by putting out and back the skill on the gem slot

Also having the same issue, removing the gem and equipping it again fixes it for me too.

I reported this as happening in Fraythorn, since reaching Crual difficulty it can happen almost anywhere including trials which is extremely annoying as you can't just relog or port to town.

Removing then re-equipping your shield fixes it but it seems very short term.

As Trial of Chaos is hot on CC for the player it seems likely this is the issue.

Please fix asap this is very annoying and can easily cause trial failure. Either directly if shield charge suddenly doesnt work or indirectly as it strongly discourages a lot of the bane selections.

This has been happening to me as well. Both shield charge and leap slam tend to get bugged out. I've always been able to take the gem out from the page and put it right back in to use it. I've only seen this happen to travel skills.
