Ascendancy trial "Djinn Barya" coin gone

Brand new POE player, LOVING the game so far, but there are many small oversights. One such is the trials passage coins being lost after accidentally starting a run. I completed my first trial and got a second coin from the watchful twins (vultures), however, I inserted the coin and accidentally started my second trial run with no passives/relics slotted. There was no way to change this in the lobby, and no way to cancel the run. So I went in and died to reset the lobby only to find my coin gone. GGG please have either a warning that this will happen before we start a run so not to lose coins or allow for cancelling of runs if the first floor hasn't been entered. My coin is gone, and I have killed the twins 15 times with no second drop.

Something similar happened to me. I put the coin in and was choosing some relics to go with it and got disconnected. When i came back i had lost my coin and cant get one back.

Have the same issue, I tried 3rd ascendancy (lvl 52 one) once and failed, i logged out and the next day I did not have the coin...
I tried to kill Balbala again after reseting instance but after killing her I don t get the coin again... Help! |

Same to me....Quest in log..no coin...and cant get one...

Similar thing happened to me, but with the first coin. So I can’t complete the trial and get the ascendency.
