Acolyte of Chayula Waking Dream Node DO Activate Clarity/Vitality w/ No Spirit Reservation

Edit: Upon closer investigation the auras DO WORK but they DO NOT reserve spirit. This seems like it's unintended. It was brought up in other forum posts, but no one has dedicated it to specifically this issue and is casually mentioned in a larger body paragraph.

Acolyte of Chayula Waking Dream ascendancy node skill Into the Breach has the "persistent" and "buff" keywords and when using a uncut support gem, it will recommend the available support auras. I have tried to use clarity and vitality and although the Into the Breach skill is always active, the clarity or vitality won't trigger. I cannot right-click Flames of Chayula like I could Herald of Lightning.

Below are screenshots with the gems slotted in Into the Breach and Herald of Lightning. I have 60 total spirit: Herald of Thunder costs 30 spirit, Clarity costs 10 spirit, and Vitality costs 20 spirit. So I have enough spirit to run all three buffs.

It shows that it works in the latter, but not in the former. I am assuming this is unintended because it has gem slots for supports and the game recommends those supports. Thanks!


In this first picture, Clarity and Vitality are supporting Into the Breach. Total Spirit is 60/60. No spirit is reserved. We can see that Into the Breach is activated from the floating flames.


Herald of Thunder with Clarity and Vitality Socketed. Total Spirit is 0/60. All of it is reserved as expected. We see that Herald of Thunder is active from the icon with Vitality and Clarity
