POE 2 - Igniferis Crimson Amulet recovery not working with Titanrot Cataphract Maraketh Cuirass.

The Igniferis Crimson Amulet as a unique ability that negates regeneration and instead recovers life every 4 seconds (much like how a potion recovers) at a rate of 1 life/ .2 life recovery from regeneration.

However, with Titanrot Cataphract Maraketh Cuirass on, which only stops life regeneration, the recovery mechanic of the Igniferis Crimson Amulet is also stopped.

I believe this interaction is a bug as all abilities of the amulet would appear to stop regeneration in the same likeness and have their recovery like a potion, work with Titanrot Cataphract Maraketh Cuirass.

The other thought is that Potions are not supposed to work with the Titanrot Cataphract, which is scary thought, but currently do.

Please let me know what your thoughts are on this mechanical interaction in POE2.

Can you confirm that life flasks are the only source of life regen for the armour?

I would gamble on "you have no regeneration" taking priority and being functionally equal to "your life regeneration is 0", so the amulet works, but it restores 0 life every 4s since the math of 1hp per 0.2hp regen sums up to 0 with 0 regen.

That is an interesting notion to the mechanics of these items. Perhaps you are correct, but word from GGG would be appreciated to understand the layers of this calculation.

Just noticed this myself. Was trhilled that we found a nice combo with the 2 items. Wondering if it's truly intended not to work together :(
