Warrior Class Giants Blood Skill Passive--- PROBLEMS

Please take the time to read this, at the end is a very crucial problem.

Giant's Blood :

You can wield Two-handed Axes, Maces, and Swords in one hand
Triple Attribute requirements of weapons

So this needs further classification because it can be interpretted as you need triple of both weapons that you want to duel wield.

This needs to be rewritten as, Triple Attribute requiremen, Specified to individual weapon sets* something of that sort.

BUG regarding Attribute reduction modifiers - which ' should ' apply from a game logic perspective. Attribute reduction is attribute reduction. If it applies to items, it should apply to a skill passive.

This passive skill does not respond to any % reduced attribute modifiers.

So if I wanted to utilize 40% attribute reduction gear, it doesn't work.

- This is a rightful headache of gold wasted, and time spent farming the gold to respec, and farming gold to fix the mistake.

With a maul that requires 88 strength, that would mean (3x) 264 strength.

With the 40% combined attribute % reductions I have that would mean. 88 x .6 = 158

158 strength is far more doable than 264.

People are going to complain about this.

Truthfully I think warrior needs some TLC, potentially some elemental resistance buffs, that the range based classes can have an easier time dodging since they are in a much larger radius to maneuver.

So if range based classes never have to priortize armor because they are not worried about melee attacks since they have distance. They priortize energy shield and or life leech etc.

With warrior and specializing in armor, and not energy shield, and trying to get element resistance items, it's not enough. If that's the case why even wear the full armor items.

I think more has to be done on the defensive side, since already warrior is trying to maximize damage since it is not a DPS class.

I also want to make a rightful comparison between diablo 4 barbarian and PoE warrior class in reference to how Giant's Blood can make gameplay more interesting.

D4 barb - has no need for a shield. I don't think many Warriors in PoE 2 are actually using a shield. I don't think many people that want to play this type of class find shield gameplay enjoyable. - I have not used any shield mechanics at all. I was not impressed by 1h damage.

If I wanted to use a 1h weapon, and a shield, I would hope that I'd have some spells to utilize. This is just not the class for it.

This makes it even more important, because players are interested in 1handing 2handed weapons.

And to another element of this - I don't think many warriors are interested in using an offhand weapon since the build is naturally opted for maximizing fire damage.

In D4, with barbarians, the weapon swap multiplier was interesting. From a loot perspective, you needed to find uniques for a hammer/mace, a great sword or great axe, and you needed to find 2 1h handed weapons.

All of the damage multipliers made the class work. If they didnt' have the combined multipliers of weapons, they would need to buff everything.

Making Giants Blood easier to achieve, would make the game play more fun, to switch between a faster moving 2h weapon. and a slower moving 1 handed 2handers duel weilded.

We need this because skills penalize duel weilding via 30% on both weapons, and some skills reward it.

Most importantly...

There is no flexibility for this scenario to even happen I can not have one weapon set to use a 2h mace alone, and then use a double set.

Say the 2h mace alone has a higher strength requirement than the double set, I wouldn't be able to use that with how Giant's blood is applied.

The 3x strength requirement needs to happen on a weapon set basis.

Just to simplify this. If the 2h maces I want to duel wield require 50 strength , ok so currently 3x with no reductions that be 150. No problem.

But if I want to use a 2handed mace by itself that requires 88 strength, I meet those strength requirements obviously, but with giants blood applied it automatically applies, and I wouldn't be able to use the weapon because then it would require 264 strength.

This needs to be solved, it's a massive problem. And if the question is why would need a second hand weapon set of 2h maces- then why would you need to duel wield 2h weapons.

I'm sure axes and great swords are going to have different attributes and bleeding effects.

This could be something that GGG is aware about and is willing to apply when axes and great swords do come out.

Thank you for taking the time and reading this.
