Massive FPS drop when killing rare enemies

Since I got to maps i am experiencing some really big framerate drops from that visual effect that happens when you kill a rare enemy, making it really hard to react to some on death effects

did you find a fix for this? this is happening every time a rare mob dies, 120 fps down to 40

1 thing about your settings: I'd turn water detail all the way down, this won't change anything but it's worth a try!
2nd thing I'd try if I were you is giving the game high priority in your settings, you can google how to do that. |

The same here... fps can drop from 100 to under 30. If we combine that with ground mechanic after kill for example exploding crystals or expedition circle spell, that will kill me most of the time, because I don't know what is happening on the screen xd

same issue here: rx6600 gpu drivers 24.8.1. Also don't know if this is the right place or it would be better to post in the early access bug forum

I have the same issue; I went and got a finisher to fix it, but it didn’t work. It got even worse, and now the finisher doesn’t even show up properly. How frustrating!

Same problem here, I7-6700k, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070 8GB of VRAM. When playing, CPU and GPU are both at 10 ms latency, when i'm killing a rare monster, my GPU latency have a big spike at 100ms, sometime more. It seems low perf GPU are destroyed by this on death effect of corruption... Maybe it should be possible to disable it

I'm having the same issues, latest AMD drivers and Windows 10 build - running a Ryzen 5800X3D, 6800XT and 32GB of RAM

same issue gforce 1080, ryzen 5600x 32gb ram win10, tried tweaking all the settings nothing helps even dynamic resolutin doesnt seem to apply when it happens, definetely something shady going on
