Ninja Nerf?? Quarterstaff's "Charged Staff" skill no longer shoots multiple waves!

Hey I loved my laser staff waves and after logging in this evening I noticed I could only shoot one wave for my first attack and for any subsequent attacks I shot nothing. This is unnecessary and way less cool looking.
The skill video in the gem selection menu is now false advertising. Was this on purpose? Why?? Other lightning monks - when you use Charged Staff and any Tempest Flurry or whatever swings you use, do you see more than one wave every few combos? My charged staff was never shooting mulitple?

When I used Charged Staff with the lightning flurry it shot one wave per strike so for my full combo it was 5 waves due to using the 4th attack twice. Now that same combo shoots one wave SOMETIMES but mostly nothing.
Even the skill video shows the character shooting one wave per strike, you cannot replicate this now. Please confirm! Anyone who can, please confirm, I feel insane but this is really bothering me :^( |
