Lost characters in POE1 and POE2

I recently signed up for Steam and I also update my email address with my account. And now, when I logged back in to play, all of my characters are gone. I’ve contacted the GG’s support team and it’s been a few days and still no response. I also now see that I have two accounts here. Is there a way to get my characters back? " If you have sent an email to support@grindinggear.com then please wait for them to respond. They are still extremely busy. I can see your PoE 1 characters here on the website - on the character tab I had to select PoE 1 Sony to see them. Are you still playing on PSN? 😹😹😹😹😹
