Need leap slam i-frames

Will leap slam always have no i-frames or at least projectile dodging? This is brutal, I just can't use leap slam anymore because it's too long of an animation lock to be vulnerable in. Honestly, everything is since everything does too much damage and everyone has to play like a glass cannon.
With melee not able to attack while moving you have to throw them a bone somewhere.

Just mainly want to get more attention on this. Leap slam is the only mace skill you can't dodge cancel, so I'm many ways, I am at my most vulnerable while leaping, and since it mainly seems to be for engaging the enemy, in many ways I feel better off walking to them.
