Small soul core

while in Jiquani's Machinarium i had 3 small soul core's, and i used on to go after the boss ... i died and the remaining 2 core's disappeared from my inventory and went back to their spots on the map... the one for the boss even reappeared on the map. the one to open the door for the boss stayed in the shrine. so when i finally beat the boss i still had 1 extra after opening up the remaining doors. it seems to be an infinite glitch for soul core's... even tho they don't do anything for the character the extra core stays in my inventory till i drop it on the ground.

I was just coming to make a post about the soul cores. I collected 3 of them, went to kill the boss but died once and lost the soul cores. Had to find one again to open the door to proceed to the next area. I think this is one of the areas i hate because of you need to find the damn soul cores and sometimes the one core you need is in some corner of a room you missed in the beginning.

I couldn't find any to open the first door at. Don't know if it's because I started killing monsters and exploring before summoning Alva, but there were none in the section. I had to respawn at the checkpoint to get it to appear.
