Question - what is the minimum beast level to use the blood altar in the menagery?

The highest level beast I've got is level 29, but my character is at level 46 which is over 15 levels difference. Can the blood altar quest be completed in multiplayer? If I'm in a party with another player and they use their blood altar to summon beasts will I still get credit for the quest?

Turns out I was able to figure it out and complete the ritual.
