Quest state bug

My character currently level 62 in path of exile 2 and unable to enter maps due to a bug.

the quest "the mad wolf of ogham" will not complete and i am assuming i triggered this bug when i killed the act boss and died at the same time but it counted on my quest log.

i tried rekilling the boss to see if it would force the quest state to update but it is stuck on the "travel East" step and the hooded man does not have an option to travel to act 2 to force the quest state to update.
any help would be appreciated so i dont need to relevel this character again.

all other quests through acts 1-3 normal and cruel are all complete except for the first one.

disregard im unsure why but it let me open a map now.
perhaps i just had to pen the map in the town
