Chaos Trial - Impending Doom Giant Circle of Death Covers ENTIRE map
So I just made the mistake of choosing the trial option Impending Doom in chaos arena that creates big exploding phys circle.
IT COVERS THE ENTIRE bleaping MAP. That's not ok. That thing one shots or deals 90-95% of life pool. The label isn't even correct because it says it has a maximum size, NOT ARENA ENCOMPASSING circle size. How did that make it past testing? Balance the SIZE please. Just had the misfortune of experiencing this myself. Escort mission and boss fight became essentially impossible. How was this ever green lit.

Bump.
Trial of Chaos is generally just trash design. Finding soul cores with levers buried in the art department's basement, Impending doom circles covering entire room 7 boss floor, Half of the art assets you need to interact with aren't even marked properly on the mini-map, and they aren't visually clear... This is incredibly noticeable AFTER you've cleared the room and can't even find a way out because it was an after thought... Heck, the impending doom circle doesn't EVEN render on walls and platforms, so you might not even notice you're in it. The vast majority of difficulty, isn't the rooms, it's finding what you need to with absolutely no visual clarity, but that's the entire game... You can walk in this shallow water, but not THIS shallow water right next to it. I digress though, on the original topic, Impending Doom covering the entire boss arena or room is absolute dog water design and the only difficulty in this game is cheese, and the RNG you get to pick from your 1-3 options. It's not hard; it's just the video game equivalent of guessing a four digit combination lock that breaks if you guess wrong once and need to start again.
