Interaction between minion 'revive' nodes and Necromantle unique

I did some testing, All the revive nodes on the passive tree give (25+5+5+15=50) 50% faster minion revive total. The unique 'Necromantle Bone Raiment' gives another 50% faster minion revive speed. But when I equip the armour the revive time only goes down by max 1 second. My guess is that it has something to do with additive/multiplicative multipliers, because 100% would be instant summon and that would be silly. But still I think there is something off in the calculation, because if the normal time is 8 seconds, 50% less should be 4, and 50% less again should be 2 seconds. Anyone else care to test this and post their findings? I am not the best at testing these game mechanics :) Greetings love the game! I used "Necromantle Bone Raiment" too, without the armor my minions cooldown is 5 sec, after I put it on the cooldown become 4 sec. This is 20% reduction not 50%.
