Can't progress to cruel act 3

After killing the cruel act 2 boss, I got the prompt from Sekhema Asala to travel to Act 3 but instead went to try my 3rd ascendancy in sanctum and when I came back the option was gone from Asalas dialogue and I have no way to travel to cruel act 3.

I have this exact same problem and cried my eyeballs out after trying everything for 8-10 hours.
Killing almost every boss in cruel act 2 and the endboss 6 times in the hopes of a fix but nothing works so i can't progress.

Do you have a fix by now?
