POE2 Stuck after failing Trail of Sekhemas

Failed while fighting Rattlecage. Using a controller on PC. The failed trial dialog showed, but I was unable to use controller to do anything afterwards. Buttons on controller were effectively locked up. Didn't seems to be any UI buttons to restart or quit the trial either. I had to move to keyboard to escape to menu and logout.

Same for me on ps5, have to reset the game every time.

Same for me on pc and im using controller not a single button does anything, like you said you gotta pause in keyboard and logout quite annoying

Same for me. Playing on PS5 - cannot do anything / none of the controller buttons do anytthing. Cannot even pause the game.

I have to close the game and re-open it.

I also ran into this bug. Can't even open the menu to exit. I literally have to force quit the game after failing the trial.

Bruh this is a pretty major flaw.

Brand new to ARPGs never played Diablo nor PoE and this is my third session with the game. I was finally starting to enjoy it a little and I have to force quit the game every time? How did this make it past QA?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA this is so frustrating. How important is this stupid trial? Can I skip it like other side quests and just choose to never do it?

Same issue, not on Rattlecage however.

Still not the best - on PC with controller, press Esc key will indeed bring up the menu, which I picked to go back to character select screen. Not sure how consoles would do this.
