Enemies in maps rendering bugs. Looks like their characters get 'rained' in
|
This only affects the rendering of monsters, not player or NPC characters.
What I have already tried: - Change renderer (Vulkan, DC11, DX12) no effect - Change Dynamic resolution (On/Off) NVidia DLSS, NIS, FSR no effect - Change Max Image Quality: Quality, Balanced (no effect) - Change Scene Brightness 0,0, 1,0 no effect - Change Texture Quality High, Medium no effect - Change Lightning: Shadows + GI, Shadows no effect - Change NVidia Reflex: On, Off, On + Boost no effect - Change FPS Cap no effect - Change TRipple Buffering no effect PC Specs: Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz Installed RAM 32,0 GB (31,9 GB usable) GPU: NVidia RTX3090 24GB Vram GPU Driver GeForce GRD 566.14 OS Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 19045.5011 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0 (Edit: This is for PoE2, wrong forum will repost) (Edit 2: It seems to be the 'Overwhelming Presence' rendering. I can't imagine this is intentional as it really looks extremely bad at least on my system and others that reported the same as a bug) Last edited by HuxNeva#1743 on Jan 7, 2025, 5:19:42 AM Last bumped on Jan 6, 2025, 7:13:32 AM

I have the same problem.. I think it has to do with the Mercenary ascendancy.. for me it started when I got the explode node for the witch hunter.. all enemies are always covered in black rain and the game is virtually unplayeble on my PC.. so I downloaded the game on ps5 and link my account with steam.. and low and behold it's the exact same on ps5! I really hope I get a response soon and that they are aware of the problem because iv'e waited 5 years to play this game and have spent thousands on POE1..
PC specs: Windows 11 home 23 H2 inter core i7-8700k CPU 3.70 Ghz 32 G ram 1080 ti nvidia 64 bit operating system I would assume I need to update my pc but it's the same problem on ps5.. so this is why I think the bugs are on the game and not the device.. |

For me I only have it on my Warrior. It does not occur at all on my DeadEye, so it seems definitely related to some spec or ability.

Could it be the Overwhelming Presence effect you're seeing?

Indeed! When I turn 'Overwhelming Presence' off, it goes away. I hope this rendering is considered a bug as the visual makes it near unplayable.
