Jewelers orb not working for Mace strike.

I cannot seem to add a support socket to a basic skill such as Mace strike, and appear to be stuck with two sockets. Is there a different kind of orb that I have to use for something that isn't technically a gem, is this a bug for console?... Or, what's going on here?

No skill gem = can't modify.
Stronger weapons will have the skill with more sockets |

So it goes by item level? Any idea what level you get more sockets at? Everything I've seen researching it says you're supposed to use a jewelers orb... But that doesn't work..

IDK the exact breakpoints, but I currently have an iLvl 63 that gives 4 supports on mace strike
