Monsters & Traps
A lot of people are calling this the "Dark Souls AARPG" and while I don't think that is a bad comparison and I think the game lends itself well to the crossover I do think it could do more to help with that. One of the biggest things that make Dark Souls game fun is the fairness. I think this game is already doing great with fairness for things like bosses but do think it could improve on it in some aspects. One of the biggest things I think this game could do to improve on that would be to allow monsters to get hurts by traps the same way the player does. Knocking back or hitting a monster into a fire trap or spike trap would feel so satisfying. Additionally, this could open up a whole new level of mechanics where knockbacks for some classes. like melee, could be a lot more beneficial. I understand that this could cause some huge development problems but I do think a lot of people would enjoy this concept.
