D3D12 crash

Hi,

I keep experiencing crashes related to DirectX12. When I change to Vulkan, I also crash at random moments and return to desktop, but the crash is called something else.

I was walking past an already claimed waypoint in act 3, when my game froze. When I clicked outside the game, it shut itself down and I returned to desktop.

My pc should be more than able to run this game. Friends who have a less powerful pc do not experience this issue. I have an 3070Ti, 32 GB ram and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, running on Windows 10 64-bit.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I've been randomly crashing (either random or when I first see a bosses transformation) and got a d3d12 cannot create resource popup. Just replying hear to say me too.
use Vulkan the problem will disappear.
Adding to this. I seem to be getting this while I'm in the windup animation for Sunder, then it freezes and I crash to desktop.
Same issue.
For me this was a nvidia driver issue. Do a clean install of your drivers and restart the pc. Then run kaspersky or ccleaner to clean up registry files and then restart your computer. This appears to of fixed the problem for me.

An old residual nvidia system file was causing WMIproviderhost to use up to 100% of the cpu which would prevent some textures loading up properly on occasion.
I have been getting this error every time I try to play. It is happening at the Riverbank (very start of the game) whenever I attack a mob. Obviously this makes the game unplayable for me, hopefully this can be fixed soon as the game looks really good from what I can see on YouTube.
Still bug is still very much alive and well.

Crashes around 30min into gameplay and spits out a random d3d12 error everytime.

If only this was true.

I'm getting a different error using Vulkan.

I did a reinstall of the game, lowered my graphic settings (shouldn't have to, but there it is) and it appears to be doing better. Sometimes there's a hickup, but a crash is less frequent. It still happens at least once an hour and inconsistently and irregularly.
