Compounding need for Resistances are ruining the game

Please either remove or greatly reduce the compounding negative hit to our resistances per act. It's entirely too prohibitive, and hamstrings the player to have to babysit their resistances while progressing.

With RNG the way it is, i've found almost no gear with resistances on them and I take too much damage because of this ridiculous part of the game. So im being hamstringed by rng, then forced to babysit my resistances in spite of it, which hamstrings me more...WTF is this madness.

please remove this crap from the game, it's a cheap way to "make the game more difficult" that adds absolutely nothing to the game that is already extremely challenging.
