Infernalist and Corpsewade bug

Why doesn't the Infernalist burst Corpsewade when he transforms into the devil

I'm doing the Infernalist build with the Demon Form as well and having the same issues with the boots. It seems to just ignore corpses when transformed and when I pop out of the form, the boots will still do nothing unless I re-equip them in my feet slot. There is also another bug with the Corpsewade boots where if you have the King of Faridun Body Armour cosmetic it will turn off the boots affect as well.
