Question about Decimating strike and Full life mechanics.
Decimating strike says Hits against full life enemies remove between 5% and 30% of life, before the damage of the hit is applied. Do mechanics like " x% increased critical damage bonus, critical hit chance, or attack damage against enemies on full life" still apply when calculating damage after decimating strike occurs.

"Hits against Full Life Enemies remove between 5% and 30% of Life, before the damage of the Hit is applied."
I'm reasonably certain that means no ... scratch that, I actually just think that means no, but I'm not certain at all. Someone should test that. Also if it's like I assume and it's really an inverted culling strike, meaning it'll always be 5% on bosses. Zaanus:
Global chat: Mechanics for A work one way, B for another, C for a third but also with A, B uses C but not A, and D uses A&B but not C ___ Isn't a "no" better than an ignore? |

I have done some tests about the Decimating strike and full life mechanics.
My current result is yes - the full life mechanic still applies. Here is my testing method: 1.build a skill around 50% crit chance 2.equip unique gloves that offer decimating strike 3.hit monsters once each time for different targets 4.equip ambush support gem (100% more crit chance vs full life) 5.repeat 3. Depending on the crit result i think the full like mechs still works with decimating strike. |
