Endgame issues
Let's get right to the point with the current endgame frustrations.
1: Higher tier maps are hard to come by. 2: Loot drops after a kill, you get distracted by it, you die and don't get to pick it up. 3: Drops are not impactful/boring. 4: Currency crafting pure RNG with no space for choice. Suggested changes: Remove loot drops during map clearing, instead fill a hidden score that will drop all the loot after the map. Either after death or completion. If you die early ofc, you get little to no loot. Die after clearing some of the map, and you at least get some loot. In that pool of loot. Consider having more fixes drops on maps. Completing a map should always guarantee a +1 tier map. Failing a map should guarantee a downgraded map (-1 ). The atlas skills could go towards having more modifiers on these guaranteed drops, and/or dropping additional maps. This would make progression little more stable, failing a map would give you a chance to fight it back up again, and completion would allow you to push your limits. Having loot drop at the end of maps would remove distractions and allow you to focus on the gameplay. As well as just having the convenience of getting all the loot in one spot. Also allowing for better loot in general, because you don't need to drop as much, but just better quality. So less loot but more impact. I think I've done like 30 maps in a row without getting anything fun or good at all. Right now it feels like you are only just farming for currency that you can gamble for some better gear later... The crafting system seems a bit incomplete now as well and very very RNG. I would actually preferera if you guys just copy pasted the system that Last Epoc has, probably the best crafting system of any ARPG. I know this probably wont happen tho, since this would be a huuuuge change to the game. But the idea of getting stat tiers dropped -> disenchanting and then having gear drop with x crafting capacity is just so much fun. That makes even bad gear valuable, since you can always extract the stats from it. Anyway, sorry for long post, hope this inspires some ideas :) Keep up the good work!
