PoE2 Black Screen after Launch

My game is currently not able to open. Launching through Steam and get to the gears loading screen and afterwards screen instantly goes black. I don't see server selection or character selection screens.

On some attempts, the music will still play in the background even when the screen is black. On other attempts to relaunch the game, I won't hear it at all. With all attempts, I don't see my cursor like some people do.

When the screen goes black, I have to manually force shutoff PC.

Some solutions I've tried that haven't worked based on Reddit recommendations (not in specific order):
- Update drivers
- Clean installation of drivers
- Update Windows
- Remove PoE1 from Steam
- Set PoE2 affinity
- Change PoE2 GPU settings to High performance from Let Windows decide
- Uninstall/reinstall PoE2
- Run as admin
- Verify integrity of game files
- Changing renderer_type

Computer Specs:
CPU: Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF, 3400 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 24 Logical Processor(s)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
RAM: 32GB RAM (32768MB)

Having the same issues, I believe it's a Windows 11 24h2 issue.

Yeah I initially crashed after a couple runs in endgame waystones/maps while playing in a party with a friend. Didn't think much of it since I've started playing since EA launch without issues. Logged back in, changed settings to low, crashed a few minutes after again and now just getting looped into this black screen issue on launch :(

Anyone found a solution to this?

I've been running into this with a brand new PC. My old PC had four monitors so i was using one of the smaller ones (1920x1080). I switched to my larger monitor and lowered the font size in windows and the issue stopped happening. I'm not sure which of the two fixed it. Hope this helps (2560x1440)

im having same issue except i can wwalk around and talk to vendors but everything is black except ui. since this latest patch. i tried everything to fix.

after the latest patch on april 16th my background is black. The game is running and i can interract with vendors and map device but the screen is black. Is there a way to fix this ? Thank you!

Also on 4080 with latest drivers.

P.S i switched Nvidia DLSS to NIS and it works now.
