Trade/ Trade whispers not functioning properly/ cross platform communication issue

Iv been posting item to the site via premium stash tabs for the last 3+ days now and iv noticed that I don't get whispers 95% of the time, but I do get numerous invites to groups with people that clearly want to buy one of my items as they open the trade window and put currencies in. The problem then being that I have no idea what item they actually want to buy and I'm unable to ask them.

The times I do get a whisper there names have a psn icon next to them, so it seems to me that there is a cross play communication
