Act 3: Pressing Y drops Items on the ground

Since Act 3 I can't use the Y to drop items in my treasure chest. They all fall straight to the ground. I suppose this is a bug.

Same happened to me.

This only happens in trials other areas were fine for me at least.

Seams to be an intermittent thing , I have had it randomly happen in multiple areas. Seams to resolve after leaving the area and returning to it.
