Any point to holding on to Flasks with quality?

In POE1 you could vendor them for baubles however. I don't think baubles shards are a thing and I can't salvage them into anything. They are cluttering up my inventory but I was holding on to them in case there was a use for them.

All other gear with quality can be salvaged into useful shards except flasks. Is that coming later? or has anyone found a use for them?

Anyone know if they either have a use or will have a future use?

I speculate that salvaging flasks worked before the recent change to having just 2 flasks, and they disabled it because it would be too easy to obtain enough baubles to upgrade just 2 flasks, and would devalue them.

Accordingly, baubles will likely stay drop-only, well, unless they introduce like bauble-shards or something to balance the reduced demand.
