Is Reshade allowed?

Long story short….

My wife is colorblind, she has Tritanopia blindness which I believe is the worst of the three if I’m not mistaken. There’s so many games she cannot see on account of new age CGI and Effects and so forth. With Reshade I can use the color filter on there and it corrects this issue for her. I just don’t want to be banned for installing it onto the game, and wanted to make sure it was legal beforehand. Thank you!

It'd be smarter to email support, even if they're overloaded, then ask on the forum and risk a bad answer.

Personally i don't think there is anything wrong with it but that is my opinion

Support will not tell you it is ok, only that they would recommend you don't use any third party tools, it's a blanket statement to cover any future issues like a mod being changed to do something that is bannable (has happened before)

Also support are really busy atm so a replay could take weeks

You could also try the windows colour blind modes settings, ease of access, colour filters
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
Yea I’ve tried the windows options but nothing works besides the dalton option from Reshade. It’s been hell bc my wife had lost interest in gaming and a lot of movies bc she can’t see what’s going on.
I've been using a reshade for the last 4 days
Yes Reshade is safe but only the NON ADDON version.

Reshade is needed for the trash implementation of XESS and FSR

You can't even get a sharpen filter for XESS it's a garbage blury mess

Need Reshade for CAS Sharpening filter
