Big bug on controller in Trial of the Sekhemas

Playing on PC, with controller.
When you die in Trial of the Sekhemas, you can not press anything if you are using an Xbox controller. No button will get you out of the "trial failed at room X" screen. You have to press Esc > Quit to Character Selection > reenter the game. ------- I also think it's not possible to link items in the chat. Maybe it's just me, but I can not figure out how to do it when playing with controller. Last bumped on Dec 28, 2024, 3:27:04 PM

Seconding. I also use an Xbox controller. Any time I die in a trial there is no "back out" option. I have to go back to login/character selection. This is a bit of an embarrassing oversight, imo!

+1 to this. I had to use mouse and keyboard just to be able to get back to the character selection screen.
I'd also add for it to be made more obvious if you die due to honor running out. It looked like i died to a bug and then this frozen screen came up... |

I failed without knowing why (had to google for a reason) and I couldn't back out of the failed screen. Had to disconnect my controller to force the game back to character select. |

This is happening on PC as well while using an xbox controller. Die in the trial, and just has the death screen, with no options to do anything, none of the controller buttons do anything, I need to transfer back to keyboard, hit ESC exit to character selection, and restart. |

This happens only on the first death though. Subsequent deaths properly display the press "A" prompt to close the death dialog and proceed. |
