Far Shot/Point Blank/Others - clarification required
Hey guys, I'm trying out a funky build using Rain of arrows as one of the main damage dealers and it's really not clear how this skill interacts with certain notables:
1. Far Shot/Point blank - does it take into account the fact that the arrows shoot into the sky or is it actually the distance from the player character that is considered? 2. Sniper notable - it says on the description that projectiles gain crit chance as they travel further, again, how does this interact with RoA considering the above mentioned fact that the arrows travel quite a bit towards the sky and back. 3. Dispatch Foes ( or any other conditional nodes with the wording have hit/haven't hit ) - if I get a non crit I get the bonus to crit chance for 4 seconds, does this bonus go away if I do crit, let's say, two seconds later? I would really appreciate some educated feedback on this topic and not just assumptions based on belief or prior PoE 1 experience, this is a completely new game so unless someone actually tested it or some dev has already clarified it we simply don't know. Anyone?
Is projectile travel time taken into account for Rain of arrows or other similar skills that shoot arrows into the sky ? Last edited by Sickk#1703 on Dec 18, 2024, 5:18:07 AM

Bump!
Can a dev shed some light on this ? |

They'll find out when some streamer copies your build. Until then, they're busy rolling around in an "epic" and "inspiring" boss fight (wow!).

"You say it like counting the distance projectiles fly up into the air and back makes any more sense in the sequel. It's still an (pseudo) isometric game. We can't even see how high they fly. "Dispatch Foes passively gives you 80% increased crit chance. When you crit, the bonus stops working. To turn it back on you must not deal a crit for 4 seconds. |
