How far is 2 meters?

Um, simple but silly question, but how far is 2 meters in-game?
Is there any way to get an overlay of some kind, like this:

Almost all my research has led to a certain censored tool on this forum.

No it's not:
  • 20 units
  • about 6.5 feet
  • 200 centimeters

Good question. Bumping for visibility.
For muricans the very innacurate but close enough method is to think of 1 meter = 1 yard. If you think of a character being close to 6 feet then 2meters would be 1 character length, ish...
1 meter = 05 units
2 meters = 10 units
3 meters = 15 units

here is a crazy idea- when ALT viewing the skill/item when hovered over the radius value it shows you an overlay of the radius centered at your character...
Its about six feet and seven inches.

But anyway, smartassery aside, if theres any reasonable scaling in the game, it should be about the same as the height of the warrior model.
Nvm

All I know is that "3 Meters" is roughly from one foot to the other of a witch or "1 character width" because the fountain stuff has a range of "3 meters" and if I am around 1 char width away it stops.

According to that number all characters in this game are about 15 meters in size

I'm not sure what's going on in this thread. Metres in the game correspond to real metres. If you're not familliar with metric system, 1 metre is 1.1 yard. The purpose of replacing units with metres was exactly to give players an idea of distance estimation. 10 units = 1 metre.

Witch height in PoE1 ~ 162 cm.

The request for in-game range/radius visualisation is super old. I'm not against this of course, it would be useful too see auras radius for example. But now the devs can easily parry it by saying the game uses the real measurement units, so such feature is not necessary/in low priority.

I'm trying to figure out visually what [insert any arbitary] distance is. Almost everything in this post is either a troll answer about smartassery with units of measurements or "this is a good idea, why don't we have this" and "I don't know"

A follow up to you then is "how far is 10 units in-game?" Great to know the witch is 1.62m, but what does that look like with her lying down, for example?
