POE2 Missing ascendancy altar after completing lvl 76 trial / 10 floors

Hello,

So after bonking my head against the wall for far too long I finally completed the chaos trial using a ilvl 76 key and getting through all 10 floors to finally complete my ascendancy however in the final room the altar was nowhere to be seen. After searching for several minutes to make sure I did not just miss it and as the the side quest did complete, I assumed I could just click on the portal and finally get the points but no, I'm now outside without anything.

Please help, I can't imagine having to do that again...

You can get 4th ascedancy from killing the trialmaster. You need to do trials to get fragments that you put into the wall at the end and there you can fight him.
