Hideout

Hello.
Did lots of map nodes by now, I'm pretty sure I did the ones with the Hideout icon, however I can't access my hideout. There's no Hideout button in world map (U) and I can't see any node with a Hideout icon on them.
How do I open this thing? Google isn't helping so at this point I think it's a bug?

You may need to talk to Alva - she has an option to select/swap your current hideout. If you only have one, you might need to set it as your active one.

You could also try using the /hideout command in chat from the ziggurat (hub with the map device).

But if you did clear the map and the hideout is unlocked and set, there should be a button on the left side of the world map screen to warp to your hideout. Next to the Temple of Chaos warp button.

/Hideout gives me "This player has no hideout in this league", Alva has nothing to say about it and I got no Hideout button anywhere in the world map.
I'm pretty sure that at the start of the mapping I did do nodes with the Hideout button yet the game still says I haven't unlocked one.

Did you enter into the hideout on the map and clear out the monsters? Then talk to NPC? (Assuming that unlocking a hideout is the same as in PoE 1).

For me the first step was to complete a hideout map. The second was talk to Alva about Hideouts. This displayed a hideout select screen for me where I could pick what hideout to use.

Yeah Alva has nothing new to say, tried all her dialogue options.

Is it possible that dying in a Hideout node prevents you from getting one? I still can't find any Hideout nodes anywhere
