Still Facing Issues with Trade Website – Apologies for Multiple Posts

Hello everyone,

Apologies for posting multiple times about this issue, but I’m still unable to resolve it, and it’s becoming quite frustrating. Here’s an update on the situation:

What Works:

I can still sell items on the trade website.

What Doesn’t Work:

I cannot buy items because:
- The auto-whisper button gives me this error:
"Invalid query: Your account must be in-game to use auto-whisper."

- When I try to manually copy and paste the whisper message from the trade site into the in-game chat, I get this error:
"Failed to send private message to charactername: The specified character does not exist."

Additional Details:

- My Steam account is correctly linked to the website, and I’ve successfully bought and sold items in the past.
- My characters do not appear on the website, which I suspect is the cause of these issues.
- This started two days ago, and nothing I’ve tried has worked so far.

Why This is a Problem:

I can’t contact sellers or purchase any items, which significantly affects my gameplay experience.

What I’ve Tried So Far:

- Re-logging on the website via the Steam button.
- Restarting the game, Steam, and my computer.
- Clearing browser cache and trying different browsers.
- Ensuring I am online and active in-game when using the trade site.

I’d greatly appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps I might have missed. Thank you for your time and understanding!

Just to confirm, you're playing PoE2 and whispering people from the PoE2 trade site?

This might be quite obvious, but did you double check that you have selected the correct league (softcore/hardcore)?
This seems to be some database issue not syncing accounts with clients correctly. (Coding is hard)
GGG's way of handling linked accounts seems borked at best. Totally broken at worst.

I have Steam and PS5 EA using the same account. I play the same characters in both clients, and aside from PS5 micro transactions not showing up on Steam, everything else is the same. I also have another old account that IS correctly linked to this main account. I'm totally unable to interact with /trade2 (and yes, correct league)I also have a Twitch account correctly liked to this main account as well.

Twitch drops are totally missing. POE site, as well as Steam, show these items as verified. Where are they?

Totally unable to interact with /trade2 in either client, Steam or PS5.

"invalid inquery: your account must be in-game to use this feature" is the message if I'm on Steam, PS5, whatever.

I'm forced to have friends whose accounts "magically" do work, interact with trade for me. This puts me at a huge disadvantage in end game as I'm unable to use trade to support myself. AKA I'm screwed!

I know this is EA. But selling EA access and totally gimping people to SSF without a word of warning isn't cool at all. Blizzard, In spite of being inept at making modern games, at least has this issue handled correctly. The complete lack of any support on this subject from GGG, and the disragard of emails to support is terrible.

Good game + Game breaking account bugs + no support = not a good game.

I have the same issue. None of my dump tabs seem to be working. I can sometimes issue prices directly. The tabs were working fine a few days ago.
