Cataclysm's Wake Tier 5 Map Boss Arena Lock in Party

Running a tier 5 Cataclysm's wake with a friend. We find the boss arena, boss starts (Rust King) and is defeated. However, we are unable to complete the map as the arena "invisible wall" that spawns when the boss fight begins did not go down, and we can't go back out to kill the other rares.

I just had the same issue on a level 2 map. After fighting the boss, the Arena door does not open.
