huge bug with equipping items and audio

i got a new pair of gloves from a vendor and equipped them. after i did there was bug that occurred that kept my gloves equipping and unequipping rapidly. i restarted my game, issue still happening. super loud rapid dinging noise.only way i got it to fix was by destroying the gloves causing the issue, and restarting my game with no gloves in the slot. im unsure if putting the gloves in the stash would've fixed it.
EDIT: issue is still continuing. i used an orb of augmentation on a new pair of gloves while equipped and it started to happen again. while it happens im unable to take them off, only fast traveling via way-point makes it stop so i can remove the gloves.
edit2: it happens with any item i equip. game is actually unplayable for me atm
edit3: it only happens when i equip an item directly over another to swap them out.taking items off individually then replacing the new item there doesnt cause the issue, only when swapping.
EDIT4: demon form disabled as game isnt registering all gear equipped, cant do anything with gear at all.
edit5: took off all items, restarted game with items in stash, tried putting them back on, bug happened. i cant play the game. afraid to check other characters.
edit 6: FIXED BUG, the issue was when i switch gloves i lost dexterity, which made one of the gems on my demon form unusable, removing the gem fixed the issue.
