Elemental Equilibrium and Multi Elemental Attacks

Does applying multiple elemental attack types at once work?

I have an attack that can do all 3 elemental type damages at once through a bow. I dont see the debuffs cycling and I am wondering if it is just happening instantly since it applies them and consumes them at the same time (but then one should be left over and there isnt).

Does it apply all 3 and consume at the same time? Does none of it get applied? I cannot tell if this is working properly, but when I do single element spells it appears to be working.

Ultimately just want to know if this isnt working properly or if it is intended to not apply any when its multiple elements at once.
