Dune Lurker damage too high

Character level 85, 1906hp 67% evasion with Acrobatics, Full elemental resistance capped and 49% chaos resistance, 3% physical reduction from some armor. Map was tier 13.

Dead in less than 1 second. First hit was over 1k, next im dead.

You cannot see these monsters, there is no play here, no reaction nothing. Even if I did not get stunned on first hit I doubt anyone can react so fast to roll outside of the next hits. This in my opinion is not ok. Unavoidable damage has to be tuned down for this types of attacks.

I just lost a level 60 Trial to these. Even with maxed honour resist and no damage mods, these things hit me for around 1K per hit and absolutely shred my honour with every attack.

Every other enemy in the Trial does chip damage to my honour and HP pools, even some of the more juiced rares in the later levels and the bosses. Once again, this was without the mods that deal percentile damage or boost the damage of enemies.
I didnt die to them, but I agree 100% that their issue is too high. I'm pretty sure when they burrow and emerge from the ground, they hit twice as many times as they were meant to, just like the goliaths that were just nerfed.

Maxed honor res, ES stacking character with 70% block. When ONE of these popped out of the sand, I heard the blocking noise rapid fire like 3 times and I lost almost 1k honor anyways(I lost my whole ES and a bit of my HP). I wish I recorded it but honestly anyone can just fight one of these things anywhere and you'll see what the issue is.
I mostly ignore them and move on to the next screen, but I did have an hourglass trial where I was wiping the whole screen as it spawned. Except for these guys. These guys if they spawned near me they would jump at me and if they made it before dying would do 1k honor hit(max res). Kind of nuts. Had to focus on honor restore for the next available rooms.
Totally agree, if you meet these things in Trial = you just wasted your time, and it's faster just skip it... Absolutely broken
Looks like these work as firewall against zoom-zoom builds.
In Sekhemas trials, as a rule of thumb, you should NOT be trying to kill anything you don't have to. If you have two valid choices -- avoid or stop to kill and you decide "stop to kill" that's a huge mistake.

Dodge roll! not attack first.
Like Quadrillas they jump at you first, dodge roll the initial jump. Their attack from up close has a full 1 second long animation so it rarely ever actually hits you.
I don't know how accurate PoE2DB is, but Dune Lurkers in Cruel Valley of the Titans are listed as dealing an average 259 damage with an attack time of 1.005.

For reference, Walking Goliaths deal 340 damage with an attack time of 1.5. And we know these enemies are slow and lumbering and easy to avoid. The only enemy with similar attack time in this zone are the Skitter Golems with an attack time of 1.005. And those deal 85 damage.

The Dune Lurkers are quick, require you to be in their face to be attackable, and can come in packs. Also, they have AoE attacks that bypass evasion and passive block.

I took my first death on a Pillar of the Caged God build with 2,700 HP to a pack of these. I can literally face tank the Act bosses but I can't tank a white mob? That doesn't seem balanced.

Here's the PoE2DB page for Valley of the Titans so you can look at the stats that are listed: https://poe2db.tw/us/Valley_of_the_Titans

As a comparison, look at the stat listings for Cruel Act 1 Count Geonor. He does similar damage with his attacks as a Dune Lurker: https://poe2db.tw/us/Count_Geonor
