Will there be leagues during early access?

Early access is said to be around 6-12 months. I can't imagine there not being leagues where everyone starts fresh, but just wanted confirmation on this.

I love the trading aspect of the game, but if the economy hasn't been wiped for multiple months then it kinda defeats the progression aspect, because you can just buy a ton of stuff for really cheap. I really hope there is wipes when new classes come or else i guess i just play SSF, but i would much rather there be leagues where everyone can start at the same time and the economy isnt bloated.
