Crossbow Will Not Fire Bolts

My crossbow has stopped firing any bolt skill, not even the basic bolt, but it still fires grenades. This happened after I equipped the fragmentation rounds skill with maim support and then replaced it with soul thief (mana leech) support. I don't know what exactly caused the issue.
I tried the following: - Restart the game - Change support gems - Unequip and re-equip skill gems - Try different bolt skills - Unequip and re-equip the crossbow - Try using another crossbow None of the above has fixed the issue. " Are you using swap points? I had the same problem trying to use a mark on offhand while my offhand was empty, or while i had something other than a crossbow. I fixed it by swapping to the other weapon set (even if it was empty) and equiping my weapon at that slot (i removed it from its original slot). |

did u check if your skills assigned to the xbow weapon set?

I made a new mercenary and the new character was able to fire the crossbow. After that, I logged into the first character and managed to resolve the issue.
Looking at how my buttons were set up, it could just be that I set the mouse left-click to be the skill itself, which will only load the bolts without firing anything, so that could have been the issue. Not sure why or how I changed the set-up to be like that after playing for a long time already. The left-click has to be set to "crossbow shot." Thank you everyone for all your suggestions! |

Same problem. And it also helped to create a second character, thanks for the advice. I've tried everything. I should have gone straight to the forum.
