FPS Drop (Performance Issue): Ryzen 7 5700G + Nvidia RTX 4070 super
Since I started using this build (Fireball Bloodmage by Goratha) and other builds with less effects, I have been experiencing performance issues in the game. Although the FPS drop is visible in the video, it looks even worse on my screen. I have lowered all settings and tried various solutions, but nothing seems to work
My current setup is: Graphics card: Nvidia RTX 4070 super Processor: Ryzen 7 5700G Motherboard: Asus Prime B450MA Power supply: 650w RAM: 32GB Storage: SSD 240 gb (only for windows 11) M2 1 TB Nvme (POE2 and 3 extra games) HDD 1 TB for other files. https://youtu.be/hmGnVmMZ9fM https://youtu.be/Lx6FgVE7fxE https://youtu.be/v9LHTbLzeA4 CHEERS. It's funny how there's no word about optimizing the game, just balance and bug fixes :D Since it's the same old PoE engine, it'll probably remain that way as it was the case with PoE. I guess it's just a "feature" of PoE at this point. Why design the game like this with all the visual clutter if high end PCs drop FPS to console numbers at times, it shouldn't even be allowed to have all these effects happening at once in the first place then :D Them talking about how it'll be better in PoE 2 was just marketing.
I am currently on "balanced" settings with FSR just to maintain the game at 80+ FPS since it constantly drops from 150+ to below 100 (1440p), and it sacrifices the visuals a lot compared to higher settings. But it's not like changing settings matter much anyway, it's just the engine. |
